First of all, sorry about crashing the forums.

It looks like the string '<br/><small>F ' repeated to POST_MAX is enough to take the server offline for quite a while.

Perhaps there should be a first pass to see how much processing should be done on a post, and bail out if it exceeds <REASONABLE LIMIT>?
