Obama ==> Clinton

  • ♿ (Parody)

    Whatever you think of his politics, apparently his web site security is TRWTF

    @Washington Post said:

    On the eve of the presidential primary in Pennsylvania, an online prankster leveraged a security vulnerability on Sen. Barack Obama's campaign Web site to redirect visitors to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign site.

    According to Symantec, someone embedded computer code into a posting on the Obama blog. The content in this case targeted cross-site scripting flaw (XSS), an exceedingly common type of vulnerability that can be used to automatically redirect Web browsers viewing the affected page to another site.

  • I just know signature guy is behind this!!!

  • <script>location.href = "google.ca";</script>

  •  TRWTF is that he used it to redirect them to Billary's website, instead of someone actually worthwhile. Why trade suck for suck?

     Also, the blackhat was probably actually in the employ of Billary.

    Ahhh, some good, senseless flamebait!  Have you ever slit your carotid artery while shaving?  Because it wouldn't surprise me if Occam's razor wasn't the only one you were incapable of wielding.

    You do realize that it would be incredibly stupid to hire someone to hack an opponent's website, right?  If you were caught you'd lose the election and possibly end up being charged with a crime?  Obviously it would be worth it, though, because anyone who went to Obama's site would be confused by the redirection to Hillary's site and would end up voting for her.

  • Ok, I'll be the one to mention it:

    this thread's title is very... graphic.

    EDIT: that's the whole point, right? Duh...

    Need... coffee...

    Like senseless illegality has ever stopped her before....

    And yeah, it probably would confuse most Obama voters into voting for someone else.

    Seriously, the irc channel is fun, and (so far) doesn't have this kind of trolling.

    FTFY.

     It may be incredibly stupid, but I'm sure somebody in her campain group with above average IT skills could have done it. She was facing the end of the road if she didn't win Penn. Now we have to put up with her for another couple of months for nothing.  I wouldn't mind having a woman president, but not her for sure.

    Care to provide specifics? Or are you just spouting ignorant nonsense as usual.

    @Arenzael said:

    Yep. Most Obama voters are probably that stupid.

    And before the flaming starts: No, I don't think Hillary is the absolute best choice of Presidential material. She just happens to be the best running now on the Democratic ticket.

    Sure, she may carry the Bill baggage. But look at Obama: His biological father was a black African Muslim, and his mother a Caucasian American. But Obama talks about how proud he is of his black heritage - has anyone heard him speak about being proud of his white heritage? I mean, that is half of his biological makeup.

    Then add in the fact that, while he purported to disagree with what his former pastor was saying, when asked if he had spoken to the pastor about it Obama said, "No, I couldn't bring myself to do that." How does he ever expect to deal with the difficulties of working with the leaders of foreign (and sometimes not friendly) countries when he can't bring someone who is supposedly a friend and spiritual leader to task over racial remarks?

    On top of that, there's the fact that he decided not to salute the US flag during the singing of the National Anthem (although everyone else on the dais was doing so right in front of him). His explanation? "I was looking at the singer and didn't see the flag." What? If nothing else, he was standing sideways on the stage looking at the center; even if his peripheral vision hadn't seen it, his main focus should have picked it (and the other people between him and the singer's salutes as well).

    As long as she can convince people she was under sniper fire...    If you are under sniper fire and still alive, it was either a bad sniper or they missed on purpose.

    What the fuck are you bitches babbling about?

  • Obama, Clinton, McCain, it doesn't matter who America votes for - they're all different faces of the same thing.  America lost it's best chance for President due to the fact the media (rather, the people who run the media - the wealthy elite) don't want to give up their power, and the average American is too stupid to see half the issues in the country today but cheer for any hack who spouts out a couple of patriotic buzzwords.  The election process has been crippled for as long as anyone remembers, since the nomination always goes to whomever has the most money to throw around and whoever gets the backing of the very people we need to be stopping, instead of the best person for the job.

    John Adams was quoted as saying: Posterity, you shall never know the pains we took to preserve your freedom.  I hope you make good use of it.  If you do not, then I shall repent in Heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.  The way this country has been going and will go, no matter the result of this farce of an election, should give Mr. Adams plenty of reason to repent in Heaven.

    You can start with the Peter Paul incident, for one. I think her campaign funds manager was shoved under the bus on that one.

    Ignorant nonsense? Right...

     By the way, dousing someone in kerosene is still perfectly possible without matches.
