I was reading CNN (yes, I know that's the real WTF) just now, and noticed a weird icon next to a headline. It wasn't too clear what it was at first - but it became obvious soon enough:
'WTF' is about all I can say about this one. Unfortunately, despite the t-shirt text being in the URL, it doesn't appear that you can make it say anything you want...

Those jerks, you used to be able to change the URL and make shirts say what you wanted. You couldn't buy said shirts (mismatch with the hash parameter is thought).
But now they're just redirecting you back, and it doesn't even work on half of the links currently there!
But the Real WTF: Who the fuck would seriously buy a t-shirt with a news headline on it? What an amazingly terrible waste of resources.

What are the minimum computer specifications required to use CNN Shirts?
Windows
- Microsoft Windows®: 98SE, 2000, Millennium Edition, XP Home Edition, or XP Professional
No Vista? Is it implied by "minimum"? In that case, why even put Millennium and XP (considering DOS-based Windows and Windows NT separately)?

Well surely the hardware requirements to use the Shirts are above those available on old DOS computers (with their 16mb of ram and 1mb video ram, and some shitty web browser). I wonder if the Shirts work with the iPhone? Maybe a SideKick? Maybe even a BlackBerry? No? Damn. Well I guess I can always use it at work.

On the "Blind Man Pummels Intruder": Did anyone catch that story?
They had the blind man in question on NBC's Today show this morning. I listened to the story and laughed so hard my stomach muscles hurt!
And the funniest thing is that the burglar was half his age as well. I can just imagine how his time in jail is going to be after that story hit the news. "You got beat up by a blind old man???" Yeah, he's gonna have a good time.

I'm sincerely curious, who the fuck chooses which headlines get a t-shirt option advertised next to them? I don't know which is worse, that CNN thinks this is a good t-shirt slogan, or that there are probably people who would wear this.

TRWTF is that it first shows the page with the custom t-shirt print, and then redirects you using JavaScript. Man. Now how stupid is that.
Edit: And while redirecting, it doesn't even take you to the previous, but to the index page.

They're incompatible with Linux, the shirts only go up to XL.
