It's better than SSDS, and not only that; it can run SSDS! So you can edit SSDS and just jam it and you can edit Notepad++ (it's open source) and just jam it to do anything you could ever want.
I bet you're just afraid of a showdown between the two systems. Notepad++ can trump SSDS in desktop search and usability everytime. Where's my showdown? You and all your yappity yapping and you can't even beat Notepad++. You'll never come up with the goods.

FF2 on Linux. Either my setup is smart enough to realize that diacritical marks shouldn't sit atop each other or it's too stupid to realize that they are supposed to sit atop anything (more likely). Still, "middot" must be some kind of nickname for that monstrosity because a real middot isn't anything like that.

I get the long string as well if I force FF2 out of UTF-8 for the page's character encoding (ie: switch to iso-8859 or billsoft-1252).

I am just using what the page tells me (UTF-8) and I get the screenshot above. If I switch to some non-unicode encoding it outputs junk (as expected).

So after doing a little research into Unicode, apparently my browser/OS are behaving correctly and anyone who sees the blob should not be. Combination characters like diacritics should only pair with base characters.

Found this, which has a Visio-based ER diagram of CS 2.0, with accompanying .png of the diagram. 1.8meg .zip file.
First glance through the .vsd to see what they've got for types on the various fields doesn't show too many RealWTFs. Date/Time fields are DATETIME type, numeric fields are INTEGER, etc...
There does seem to be some "huh?" stuff in cs_Styles. Stuff like "HeaderColorXXX", where XXX is 'Primary', 'Secondary', and 'Tertiary'. Don't know if those are cascading colors for nested headers, or CS 2.0 only supports 3 different template color schemes. Most other stuff seems to be normalized decently.
