Why did everything turn green?

Why did it go green?  I didn't change any preferences or anything.  And why is it now back to blue?  I'd like to think this is just a joke on Alex's part where it randomly changes the accent color on occasion just to mess with people.

  •  Maybe an update.

    Maybe pixies.

    Who knows.

Hmmm... your pixies theory sounds credible.  Somebody follow up on that.

  • Maybe the Irish girl is trying to get in touch with you?

  •  Sorry, I'm from your ISP. We were cleaning out your interweb connection since the tubes were becoming clogged. The chrorine reside left by the cleaning fluids sometimes alters the colour of your webs, but this should only affect you for a few minutes at most.

When is a fixed layout useful? It always looks ugly to me.

Awesome.  I just wanted to know why it was happening.  That's why I posted it here and not in the Sidebar.

Me too, I just thought that in would be obviously inappropriate in this case.

OTOH, it can make sense if the content has fixed width. E.g. if ICHC used all the available width, there'll be a lot of superfluos whitespace, especially on widescreen monitors.
