Installing the Unreal Engine in Visual Studio
-
This looks pretty freaking cool.
Today we are pleased to confirm that we now provide the ability to acquire and install the Unreal Engine directly from the IDE.

Are the screenshots under "Getting Started" blurry for anyone else?

For me they are. That has most likely got to do with Community Server, on which all MSDN blogs run.

Still a bug because I didn't get any auto complete (and still don't), but I do get auto complete for the line below.

The autocomplete works fine for me, it just takes a long time to pop up sometimes.

No, I mean on that particular line.
It doesn't work on the "Filed under: Waiting for @benlubar to port Dwarf Fortress over to the Unreal Engine" line, but it does work on the "Filed under under: oooo, look at that, yet another Discobug to do with @mentions" line.
I can't repro this on meta though.

Wow, that actually looks pretty good.
It reminds me a bit of minecraft.

That lava texture looks almost like a direct rip of the Minecraft one (or some Minecraft texture pack's version), or maybe just all tiled lava graphics look similar somehow.

I feel like the visualizer I used when I played was called EagleEye or something. It worked in adventure mode too, but like everything in dorf ortress, you have to watch a two hour video to understand what your goal even is.

What do you mean?
It says your goal right there! "Your party of seven is to make an outpost". How you do it is up to you.

in adventure mode
IIRC the adventure mode version of that screen literally says you forgot what your goal was.
