Facebook notification translation fail
-
Got this notification from the Facebook app the other day.
I'm not sure Raghav [redacted] wants me to translate him into english. For non-Facebook users, that notification is supposed to say "Do you know Raghav [redacted]?"
-
I wonder what train of fuckups lead to this. An Indian developer wrote a note to the translator, then some secretary copy/pasted it into a ticket, but filled in the wrong boxes?
We'll never know.

I especially love the lack of space between words.

I'm not sure Raghav [redacted] wants me to translate him into english.
Maybe an English version of human clone? (In the sense of DNA to mRNA translation)
-
I'm imagining something like this: http://play.golang.org/p/_7tUJ-3gCf
-
That wouldn't display the name.
I'm 99% certain they don't use any format string, but always slap the name at the end.

Sounds like F-book was using [url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7702913.stm]these guys for their translation[/url].
