Yup, don't use it. But I'm kind of fascinated by how evil it is.
Other companies at least try to put up some kind of positive facade. Not Facebook. They are evil and proud of it.

Indeed. I'm sure Google would be doing the same if more than like 7 people used Google+.
At the end of the day, it's a company making money from its product. The users are the product. Same as Youtube, same as Google Search.

I have an account because some people insist on using it as primary method of communication, and also so I can put on a facade for people who google me. I'm not "social" enough to use it as a social network. I just don't feel the need to share everything I do.

I use it for various things. I get stuff like baby pictures from the opposite coast (and vice versa). My martial arts school has a group set up where we share stuff and talk about things. I probably use it for that more than anything.
