Btw, did I dream or were we supposed to be able to create tables now?
this does not work Oh HTML tags do work now!
-
I don't think we installed/enabled that plugin.
-
Plugin? Cite?
(MathJax doesn't count - they couldn't be arsed to fix the obvious bugs we reported, so it remained disabled.)

That appears to be a pay-for plugin - I can't (just yet) find where the github repo is....
-
Oh... I'm sure I remembered it being free, although seeing the dev I should have realised.
I thought there used to be one but can't find it... meh.
I guess whitelisting specific HTML tags isn't a Discosetting?

No - we're having none of that TYVM.

I don't understand why he's giving people so much attitude (apart from him being a prick).

C'mon, you know what I'm saying. There's no need for him to talk to people in the way that he does.
I understood that he spoke to us like that because he hates us, but it seems to be a wider thing than that.
I avoid fail.d and try to minimise my exposure to Jeff, so I haven't witnessed him being shitty with the general public and his own devs before.
Colour me surprised!

That's Jeff though. Aside from his usual "That's the markdown spec" bollocks, it's the amount of time spent proving that other forums don't do it either. The same "toxic hellstew" forums his software is supposed to be better than.

Jeff's like my dad when I was a teenager: "Don't do what I do, do what I say do."

No, but I believe there's a special setting for table stuff now. To allow it or not, I mean.

You know the rules! No s allowed on the table! Especially during dinner!

Yeah you'll be shocked to find out that markdown doesn't work on tables.
