Disconotifications

Fairly sure this is a new one. Not ruling out me being TR either.

Oh, they'll fold together after a few seconds - or should at least - at least they do on Firefox.
-
Clearly, not checking Discourse every 15 minutes is TRWTF. His Holiness will add functionality to clear notifications for you after (14,16) minutes.
-
I've seen that effect, but CBA to report it.
-
It did after a couple of hard refreshes.
-
More likely, Sam will just delete all your notifications.
-
Only when they go over 40% of some configured limit.
-
So does Discourse actually send a notification for each reply, and then suppress the duplicates client side? :WTF:
-
It would appear so...

CLOSED, discussion is circular, hotkey will be added for those who don't check Discourse every 15 minutes.

Yup, seen it happen multiple times:

I don't have much set to "Watching" so maybe that's why I'd not seen it before.

Although, I think we might end up with
"Well, yeah, it causes performance problems to do it this way. But that's OK - all we need to do is send down half (configurable) of the records to the client (although there's no need to adjust the db query), and clear the rest. Then, whenever they load the page, just send a full list of notifications. Sure, they'll miss half the notifications, but it doesn't really matter EDGECASE_YOURE_DEVELOPERS_CLOSED_NOTABUG"

Unexpected Error: 302 success
-
That's definitely unexpected with Dicksores.
-
I really, really wanna see an end-user facing 3xx error. Because since this is Discourse, I'm sure it's possible, and that's a belgiuming hilarious concept.

I remember when SO put out 418s.
