Life's Problems Got You Down?

  • I suppose this is the wrong way to suffocate yourself.  At least that's what the folks at Dell think.  However, they were kind enough to update it to include small children...

    The updated version...

  • *Removes new plastic hat from face*

    Damn :-(

  • Soooo when someone is hyperventilating and they put the first bag they grab over their face, how do they know when to stop? Detailed instructions should be supplied!

  • I would almost interpret as you shouldn't strangle your blowup dolls... but the infant version confuses and disturbs me.

  • This is only on the bag because of people that actually put a plastic bag over their head, and then sufficated themselves. The one for a baby is at least vaguely reasonble; a toddler might think "ooh pretty", put it over its head, and stick part of the bag in its mouth, only to end up getting stuck and sufficating.

Remember, these aren't warnings for you. These are warnings for people who will actually buy products advertised in spam.

And the baby reading the warning label will prevent this?

I suppose the manufacturer was envisioning some idiot sitting around drinking beer on sunday, and telling his older toddler son, "Hey Billy!  I got an idea!  Why don't you put that bag on your little sister's head and we can watch her crawl around in it! I'll get the camera!

No, wait, there's this warning label here.  Shit, forget it, let's just watch TV instead."

  • So does this mean not to Choke Small children with Plastic Bags, or just not to let small children choke on a plastic bag?

Plastic Bags Killing, Children, Stupid People and Animals since 1950!

    Ahhh childhood memories....

  • See thats EXACTLY how I dress my baby, while she's crawling. Shit now I have to get her a new hat!

P.S. Looks like a lolly pop! Can I get a lick?

No, but it gives the company an easy out when the inevitable lawsuit is filed. Remember, these warnings are not for you. They are there to protect the company from lawyers.

I doubt it. They would settle for some amount, and be done with it. Companies rarely pursue a trial for this kind of thing. Fighting someone on their infants death just never looks good no matter what. Even if the parents and child needed to be weeded out of the gene pool.
