Ain't that something?
Me, I used next generation touch technology. Now the only wire I have is a power cord...
-
The image you posted makes it look like a screen showing some things. If you click through you can see better there are actual switches and buttons (like this):
-
It's not an image but Diss&Curse's attempt at one-boxing Imgur, which is why I added the text above
-
Original title and the text didn't give a good idea what the thingy was, so I was providing some more fill in for others that may not click through.

And he hung it overhead? As in, he bothered to make it look perfect and actually implemented all the nontrivial functionality, but to actually activate that Photoshop keyboard shortcut, you have to stand up, probably on your toes, reach over the desk and flick the switch or push the button?
Who is this guy, a Discourse UX engineer?

Now I've seen the "guy", I feel no need to continue to hold back.
- That's gotta be one of the best basement rooms I've seen yet.
- On balance, it (the room) appears to be Mom friendly.
- That's probably the closest he'll get to a Millennium Falcon cockpit.
That said: When I were a kid, I used to dream of doing stuff like that. Then the 70's happen and my age got into double figures

Want one.

Nice, but does it work on Linux?

I think it's a MacSomethingâ„¢
Desktop is similar that in the main screenshot (top left and right of "title bar"). And the sleek, sexy, cool laptop has "Mac" written all over it. (Besides, it only just occurred to me to look at the keyboard)

I am going to assume the person who liked this actually got the joke.

I thought it was something like the inside of an X-Wing cockpit (for playing Star Wars games or something), but AFAICT it's actually even less useful than that... :<poo>/
Also I hope those strings are strong enough and properly anchored, nobody wants to take the corner of that thing to the temple.

That was me, and yes I did.
