Okay, the click event is the huge blob on the left. The huge blob all the way on the right is where it tries to copy. Notice that the code is executing in an event started by the script, not by the user.
But this shouldn't be fixed because fixing it would introduce broken behavior. If I click on an unlabeled button and it deletes the contents of my clipboard, I am an unhappy user.

Yep, it's getting pulled. I guess this was a particularly extreme case of Works on My Machine (but sometimes it didn't).

It sounds more like a case of Worked On My Machine I Think But Then I Changed Some Stuff And I Didn't Test Again.
