So a new site launched today called gdgt. I just found out about it because I hound engadget's RSS feed all day.
THE SHOCKER: The site's down for the moment. Yet commenters on engadget are already saying that the site sucks. Leave it to people on the internet to make a well reasoned anonymous comment on a website, I guess.
Anyway, I think the site's a neat idea. Register and tell it what gadgets you own ... TVs, computers, phones, ipods, game systems, whatever. Then you have a forum to discuss that with other owners/people that want it/DO NOT WANT it, and they'll bring you news (who knows? it might be the same news you get on engadget/gizmodo/whatever, but maybe not). Also, let a pretty girl named Veronica show you around the site.. It's yet to be equipped with RSS as far as I can tell, but I was able to tell it that I own a 360 and a DS Lite before it went down.
