You'd also think that it would be indicated in Discourse's instructions on how to test embedding.
Not only does it not warn you about this problem, it also doesn't warn you about bare URLs not working - there has to be something after the bare domain URL for Discourse to even consider trying to embed it.
Still haven't filed that on meta.d. This problem should probably be reported too.

Because I want to have it working properly first at least in testing. Which includes something Discourse will actually render. Currently, it doesn't do it properly, even when conforming to its stupid URL standards because it doesn't support
richtype.No, I'm not interested in reporting that one, really. Because that will probably get filed under
