I can see at least two faults in that flowchart, and it's hardly a complicated one!

I like the "See ProLiant Server Troubleshooting Guide"-line: it says "Get lost!"
-
WTF? How did they not notice that mistake? :P
Hmmm... And in the documentation changelog:
2 10/16/2007 Updated Details section with larger, clearer troubleshooting flowchart.
I wonder what the original looked like? :o
-
Ehmmm...yes. That's a very special flowchart indeed. I especially like the direction of the first 'yes' line.
-
Oh, and one more - the feedback form leads to a 404

I can see at least two faults in that flowchart, and it's hardly a complicated one! They recommend running an older version of their diagnostic tools if the later one fails. Reminds me of diskdoctor on the amiga.

Okay, I see a mysteriously unattached asterisk, and a backwards arrow. Did I find the two faults to which you were referring, or are there even more things wrong with it?

I think the older version comes on a bootable CD. Hence it's usable even if the end user has decided to put $random_obscure_OS on their system.

Not exactly, looks like they recommend using a version that can boot from CD if the run that runs under the OS fails...

There's an arrow to nowhere as well...
