This contest was to build a bug into a not-so-subtle analog of Twitter NSA compelled spying.
The winner is pretty cool.

The goal of the Underhanded C contest is to write code that is as
readable, clear, innocent and straightforward as possible, and yet it
must fail to perform at its apparent function.They used C - that pretty much is all that's needed to fail any apparent function.
