Is TDWTF experiencing Digital Death? Has anyone looked for obituaries of Alex and Remy? For all we know, these articles could have been set to fire off years ago, like Raymond Chen's queue.
-
Oh, the thread exists.
@boomzilla/ @PJH, should someone of us unhide it?
-
If you don't somebody will probably start a new topic anyway... so I'd vote for yes (though, I am neither of the two people you asked).

Well, I don't want to accidentally annoy them by doing things I potentially shouldn't do ...

That's not how things work around here.

It's now listed.

Rest assured, the core staff were functioning as of checks inbox last week when I received my latest assignment :)

Things...happen.

In general if the post is visible to everyone on the front page but the comment thread is still hidden, unhide it please. @Kuro points out why.

Man, this ominous feeling you get when you see @PJH mentions you in a topic you just told a TL4 to
simply do things
is really weird.
I was half expecting to get yelled at for more or less authorizing things without having actual authority...Then I read the post and I remember that I am on TDWTF...

That was a more serious matter.
After my hints about how he was coming across as a member of the green-ink brigade1, mixed with abuse, went ignored, I thought to do that, along with a more explicit explanation as to why I did that.
Instead he went of on another one of his rants, claiming mod abuse, rather than it being the educational exercise it was intended to be, and actively refusing to be educated.
c.f. the more recent "using bots to do mod dirty work" when previously 'mods doing the dirty work' didn't actually work, and his refusing to accept that the latter even occurred.
I fully expect another reprise of some of the above since you've quoted him and he'll probably be along shortly because of it.
The term refers to a particular kind of letter writer, who claims that he is the victim of some injustice, or who composes long and vehement complaints against a person or an organisation, or who believes that a numerical calculation based on the name of the Prime Minister shows he’s an agent of the devil, or who is sure that invisible rays are being beamed into his house by his next-door neighbour to cause him injury, or
who puts forward a thesis which, if adopted, will lead inevitably to world peace.

They kinda do.
Well, not years, but there is a publish queue.
-
Yes, there's a queue. But it's possible to see the queue. And it's either broken or it's not broken. Lately it's mostly (?) broken.
-
That was a more serious matter.
Oh, I always interpreted it as a test whether or not you could make a change for a single user using Discourse and CSS... Welp, reading every post is a to making a joke

Meh, now I feel bad for posting a link to his post that became a notification. I can still remove it if it serves peace around these parts.
Addendum: There we go :D I @accalia'd my post with an edit... thats probably the most stupid thing I did so far!

No. As an educational attempt, it was turned out to be very badly executed on my part.

You mean in general or because Discurse shat itself when changing CSS?
-
Discurse shat itself
Eh, a quick refresh sorted that out; as issues go, that's pretty minor
-
But it's possible to see the queue
Sorta. The articles usually are on the site a few days even before the topic is made. They don't have the publication date set then, though.
