You know, this could have been a really entertaining thread where people posted the weird search terms from their logs but some people decided it would be more fun as their own personal bitchfest.

Agreed. There were some cool posts about odd Google search referrals. The rest was a lot of "how dare you post on this site? Don't you know that this is our own insular playground, and we don't like outsiders. Kinda like ' you ain't from around here, are ya'?"

I think your initial tendency to re-post your blog entries in full here, while also posting them to your blog, did about as much to endear you to us as the (putting it mildly) political incorrectness did.
Incidentally, you've posted about your google ads before, and this is the same issue - if you're going to use foul language (NTTAWWT) on your blog, you're probably going to get ads for porn, and get people coming to the site searching for porn.

Yeah, the mods took care of that blog thing after a bunch of whining. And the refusal of this community to embrace me is really tormenting me.
So much so that I am thinking about renouncing my old ways, maybe even having sex with a homosexual member of an oppressed minority to cure me of my homophobia, and I will also start sitting down to urinate, and suppporting Obama, and taking nothing but public transportation, and swearing off products made from anything but hemp. Anything, just anything for me to be loved by this crowd.
Plus, I signed up for this cool class at the local jc called Gender, Race, Class and Colonialism, which is supposed to explain "how concepts of gender and race produced in colonial contexts also influenced the meanings of gender and race in the metropole."
After that class, I will immerse myself in weeks of sensitivity training and reprogramming. Only then will I return to this refined arena of enlightened discourse.
BTW, the real WTF is that people have been trying to explain to me in excruciating technical detail why I get ads for porn, as if I didn't understand Google. Thanks for the help folks, I was really confused about that.

If you understand it, how is it a WTF/why post it as such? I thought you only contributed compelling, interesting posts. If you knew the answer and we knew the answer, it's neither a WTF nor a compelling, interesting post.

Or else we could just stop discussing him in the threads he starts, and let his threads wither and die. He is only doing this for the replies, it is obvious anyone paying him attention (good or bad) gets him off...
Honestly, even if my sidebar post got NO replies at all, like he is trying to say, I wouldn't have been upset or concerned. I don't have the massive ego he has where if no one pays attention to me I will be crushed.

As a follow-up to my last post, someone has come to my website in the last 24 hours who were searching for "stripping girls". (I love search engines... I think they managed to find a page where I talked about 'stripping wallpaper' and mentioned the word 'girls').
Like someone else already pointed out, I'm in the wrong business... I'm going to convert my website to one with lots of stripping girls, with the odd badger thrown in... um... I'll fetch me coat...
