Available... where exactly?

  • I'm not sure what this seemingly contradictory set of availability indications is trying to tell me...

    walmartkb

The other WTF is that the infamously low-priced Walmart charges more for the same product than Newegg, even when you take standard shipping into account.

  • uh...  this is pretty simple.

    Availability:

     Online - no

Basically it's not available online.  it's probably available in the store.  Also, it's pretty easy to find stuff cheaper online than at wal-mart.  You do pay a convienance fee for being able to walk into a store 2 miles from your house and come out 10 minutes later with the item than wait 2 weeks for some warehouse across the country to ship it to you.

  • You missed the "online only" tag above the price... ;-)

  • The 'Availability:' implies a list of more than one item to me.

nice catch.  Although I suppose the "online only" is refering to the price, so it's just a data inconsistency.

I haven't used Walmart's online shopping, but other sites I've used don't put "ONLINE ONLY" unless a product can't be found in their stores.

Also, wouldn't they list something like "Store" under availability?

I'd say it's probably just out of stock, but it says "not sold online", which sounds more like you can never buy it online.
