I don't see what the problem is with the Amazon one. If your system date is badly wrong your certificates are all invalid. All that picture is really showing is a horribly wrong system clock.
(And try discovering this when using a browser in a language you don't speak. The clock was correct, only the year was wrong so it wasn't at all obvious what was going on until I finally hit a website that was nice and told me the security was failing because my date was xx/xx/xxxx rather than just throwing an error I couldn't read.)
