That's kinda funny actually. Why y'all so serious? It's only like the networked PC logo in OS X having a blue screen. Nothing more than a light-hearted poke of fun at the competition.
Good to know at least one Macrumors user isn't a complete toolbag.

I was meant to be meeting a friend last weekend who'd come down from London on the train. She got off at the right station, consulted Apple Maps and thought she was several miles away from the pub we were meeting in. She gave up and got the next train back to London, completely wasting her Friday night.The pub was actually a 5 minute walk from the train station
The two things that surprised me were that people actually use Apple Maps, and that however many years after the massive negative publicity over things being in completely the wrong places, it's apparently no better.
In other words, Apple is the globetrotters, because you'll trot all over the globe before you get to where you wanted to go, and because it was apparently coded by Del Boy

Apple Maps is rubbish. My wife switched back to Android a couple of months ago and that is one thing she has commented on, how much better Google Maps is. Merely because it works.
