Users page no results when filtering = infinininininispinner
-
This doesn't happen on meta.d, which is why I haven't reported it there; seems to be isolated to here
-
No results for what? Are you filtering? Or sorting?
-
Filtering
-
Gotcha. Can repro.
-
Maybe something to do with the large number of users we've imported here recently? That would, of course, mean that the Discodevs hadn't bothered testing how the searching/filtering works with a large forum...
-
The JS code loads this page to get the search results (minus the
.json
):500 Internal Server Error, no content.
-
Maybe at this point Dischorse should just get its own error code.
HTTP 567 error: Discourse.
-
Which other Discoforum has this many users though?
-
Wouldn't be hard to set up a test instance with a scripted addition of a few thousand users, for stress testing
-
-
It's not that many compared to, say, Google, but compared to other Discoforums, it's a lot, Shirley?
-
-
We don't have that many..

/me wonders if it's possible to get that statistics page as JSON without being mod/admin....
i may have some nefarious plans.....
-
There's the stuff at the start of http://what.thedailywtf.com/about.json
-
this will come in useful for my servercooties tracking site.... :-D
-
*wonders if the server cooties tracking site could be made to auto-post notices to the subreddit…*
-
can it? undoubtedly.... :-D
will it? depends on now not lazy i am. (or you are i guess)
-
-
one thing at a time. gotta get it working as a cooties tracker first!
-
I think I discovered a Discourse forum with 80k+ users - and >2.5× as many posts as we have.
-
Which other Discoforum has this many users though?
OH, WELL IN THAT CASE IT'S OK THAT IT'S BROKEN!
-
OH, WELL IN THAT CASE IT'S OK THAT IT'S BROKEN!
I NEVER SAID THAT AND YOU KNOW ITAnyway, decided it is worth putting on meta.d:
-
Discourse forum with 80k+ users
FFS... That's
135375 users
. I have no idea what Duckwhores is doing, the image is fine on my end.>2.5× as many posts as we have
That could change. Maybe... if a certain script ever finishes...
Filed under: Stop compressing my shit, Dischorse!

When did you learn telepathy?
-
-
Wait, is it just me or does @PJH's screenshot read 140K users?
The latter.

I'm guessing most of them are spammers.

I hear tell there may be a fix for this issue:
