A linguistic WTF
-
Poland. An Italian style pizzeria with all-Italian named dishes. Hell, I have difficulties finding out the Polish description for some shit I can't figure from its name. An Italian family is sitting beside me and they have to speak English with their waiter.
The WTF is that there is an Italian style restaurant in a city full of foreign tourists and no waiter that can speak Italian.
-
Poland.
Well you've answered your own WTF. It's still a good thing they had an English speaker.

It's Krakow, for the fuck's sake, here everyone and their dog speaks English!

0.oDamn, that's impressive
Is it impressive because they are all sharing a dog or because the dog speaks English?Filed Under: Can also be both

Well at least they can speak two languages. Many people in the United States can't handle one.
-
because the dog speaks English?
Almost 100% of dogs I've met have been unable to speak English... And this is in an English-speaking nation...
-
Did you try Lojban?
-
Find me Lojban cuisine in the first place ;-)
-
-
the dog speaks English?
Well, most dogs in Poland do "hau hau", not "woof woof", and not many tourists bring their dogs along, so yeah, kinda impressive.

In short, you need to get away from Google. Not sure about search engines, but I found a browser for you:

They spelled lojban wrong. They also spelled ":hover" wrong. I'm not sure I trust them to write a good web browser if they can't even get the main point of their blog post spelled correctly.

VB-4119 - Add :hove style for tab tooltips

See, they're two different parts of the same ticket.

Must be racism! You should write an angry letter.
But not in Esperanto or lojban.
-
Fun fact: There was a small patch of land between belgium, Germany and the Netherlands where Esperanto was the official language.
-
Just think! They might've picked Lojban instead, and then we'd be stuck with their vandalism against Unicode character classes forever! Or until the Belgiumians got annoyed and invaded.
