A one-question geek test. If you get the joke, you're a geek:
Seen on a California license plate on a VW Beetle: "FEATURE"
I'm confident its a technical question, anyone ever hear of this before?

You must be a youngster. The VW Beetle has been known as a VW Bug since at least the late 1950's. :-)

I'm a youngster and even I know that a VW Beetle is a Bug. Maybe it's a cultural thing.
That mental image of a VW Beetle with the licence plate 'FEATURE' always makes me laugh.

Sorry no photo but I did actually see a shiny new Bug with that license plate a few years ago - it was back when the new VW Beetles were first released a few years ago (but, sadly, some time after I'd first heard the joke).
This was in Sydney.
