Since when was the topic list sorted like this?

So with just the Unread buttontabthing selected, no special sorting selected (that I'n aware of) it's showing topics I started first in activity order, then all other topics in activity order.
Is this new or have I just not paid enough attention before?

AFAIR it's always done that.

And setting the tracking level to Watching by default sometimes just isn't enough. Or something.
