If the static header was obnoxiously tall and useless, then it would help. But it's small enough and useful, so it isn't.

Ok, so it was a bit inflammatory. It has had me a bit riled up. I never bothered to setup an account after the forum change, been a reader/lurker for years.

You know when I did web dev, I used to make little bookmarklets and widgets like this all the time. I guess my problem was I never made "artsy" pages to demonstrate them, like they were some museum exhibit.
Also your bookmarklet doesn't work very well, it draws a big grey rectangle in the middle of the page for some reason.
