At my university, there is a system to enable professors to publish the grades and for students to retrieve them online. However, the process of publishing may take some time (as the certificates that are issued in the process are normally withheld until the viewing deadline has passed) and some professors want their students to know their grades beforehand, so what do they do?

Enter the grades into the system
Print the webpage from the browser
Scan it
Remove privacy-critical information (names) in Paint
Put it in a PDF
Put it on the webpage of the course

That is a WTF. The professor could save so much time by printing it, using a marker to cover the private information, and then scanning it. Crazy professors wasting valuable time... it is a shame.

You'd think I'd be sick of the "Web 0.1" stuff by now, but nope! Still as funny as it ever was :)

I think there's a problem with his scanner, though, it seems like the whole page turned into some unreadable language (German?)
