Discourse is OK!

I guess even even forum software needs to be complimented from time to time...

Known issue ;)
-
-
I think the whole of Discourse is a known issue by this point.
-
I'm sure there are more issues lurking under the surface that we haven't discovered yet.
-
Oh yeah, I'm sure there's lots of undiscovered Buggy goodness.

It's known to be an issue, but all the issues aren't known. (Afterall, that's what we're for)
-
Here's a fun one that was reported on meta.d today. You can make a word in a post disappear by searching for it.
Works here if you have "Discourse Default" style selected, but not if you have "TDWTF Default" in use.
Use discosearch to seach for buggy, while viewing this post.

No repro. Presumably because I'm not using the default CSS.
-
Yeah - that's it. Repro on Discourse Default.
-
Yeah, didn't repro me either at first, but then did when I switched to Discourse Default.

*tests at meta.d*
Although, to be fair, this is quite an edge case
-
It's nice that the word re-appears when you close the search box. You're searching for me? I'm gone. Not looking? Here I am!

Discourse.

I'm sure there are more issues lurking under the surface that we haven't discovered yet.
And even more issues that haven't even been built yet!

I guess you'd just need more nesting to make it happen here (with TDWTF styling)?
-
OK, looks like TDWTF allows so many nestings, there' no point in creating a test scenario
And then @aliceif goes and does it
-
WTF is this bug
-
This is weird. Typing "WTF" in the search box and hitting Esc doesn't cause "WTF" to reappear in above post. Closing the search bubble by clicking outside of it however does.
-
Ah, interesting. Though it's actually useful to keep stuff highlighted after the search goes away. But I think we're going to start another quit vs exit flamewar between click to close and Esc.

Bug report time?
