CPanel - Yes it hasn't
-
Needless to say, it didn't add the database.

Haha, yep that's cPanel alright - you get similar with email accounts etc.
Its only excuse is that the web interface just runs a bunch of command line scripts, which makes it easy for admins to tinker. Nice.

cPanel ftl.
not only is it the worst, it's also the most expensive! go figure

cPanel 11 is so much better than cPanel 10... But I think it still has this "bug" :P
What's even more fun is adding an autoresponder, but leaving the "Email:" field blank. You get something like:
Auto-responder Created
You must specify an email address. Ignore any messages of success this can only result in failure! was successfully created.
The problem is that customers basically expect cPanel (and I don't own the server I use, I just help maintain it). If it was my choice, I'd use ISP-Config (open-source). I hate cPanel because it takes over the whole system...

Schrodinger's database? =P

This is more like looking into the box and still seeing the cat in both states.

Well, if it's FTL, then no wonder it's the worst: all those causality violations!
Still, having a DB that can return the request response before you actually make the request--seems like a real time saver to me.
(Yes, I know, I know. But this isn't texting or IIRC, so is it so hard to type "for the loss?" Are we that damned lazy?)

The server that the image is on appears to have died. But I noticed something interesting in the source:
<img src="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Paul/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg" alt=""><img src="http://www.beerfax.com/cPanel-wtf.JPG" title="cPanel" alt="cPanel" mce_src="http://www.beerfax.com/cPanel-wtf.JPG" height="279" width="753">
What's up with that first image, pointing to a local file on "Paul"'s computer?

The only thing I could possibly attribute it to is me attempting to paste the image directly into the post, (first time I'd tried to include a picture,) before noticing the Insert Picture button.<img src="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Paul/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg" alt=""><img src="http://www.beerfax.com/cPanel-wtf.JPG" title="cPanel" alt="cPanel" height="279" width="753">

Though why an image on the clipboard would come out like that....

Another fun cPanel error:

(found this on the cPanel forums, don't blame me for the bad quality)
