"We dont wear cyberpunk clothes. Yet some might."

  • While looking up a movie on IMDB I stumbled across the insightful post by kriss3d. Appearantly there must be some secret and l337 organization like the magic society, that won't blab out their secret knowledge to just everyone. While some of those haxx0rs and craxx0rs seem to spend their time excerising the body to keep their minds clear and focused, the others apparently seek their wisdom in binge drinking. Unless, of course, if they are not busy shopping in a g33k fashion boutique.

  • It requires registration, so do us favour and make a screenie. I am not going to surrender my name to the 1337 haxxorz of IMDB...

  • I'm terribly sorry. I totally forgot that the IMDB forums were password restricted. A screenshot would probably overdo it. Instead I will simply copy and paste:

The OP kitty_897 of the threat wrote following:

are there really a lot of hackers on this site........

was just wondering how someone could hack into someone else email like on yahoo and hotmail. i was just curious because my yahoo was hacked i never gave out my password and the computer that i made the email with all those years ago is gone (my brother used it for parts) i gave up trying to get it back because no one would help me i tried for months to get the password changed( yahoo stopped responding to my emails after awhile as well). i just was wondering how they did it

I personally don't even want to know what the former password of kitty_897 could possibly have been. Anyhow, on of the first few responses was by kriss3d.

Ofcourse there are hackers here. We are everywhere. We´re not anything like those featured in the movie.

We dont wear cyberpunk clothes. Yet some might. Most will look like people you would never expect. Anything from cool guys doing sports.. excercising the body also makes your mind clear and focused.. Others drink their mind out during weekend then come up with the most brilliant ideas while having hangovers then executing the ideas once they are sober again.

It all depends on what you define as a "hacker".
I see a hacker as more of a engineer or inventor. Somone who redefines how things ( electronics or programs ) work.

Belive me. A hacker ( even most crackers ) would not have any intention of hacking your hotmail or yahoo mail account. Why would anyone want to do that unless its to brag to friends ( which is most often the script kiddie way ) or somone who dislikes you in some way.

Its not even worth mentioneing that first rule about being a cracker ( which is what i belive youre actually seeking here.. despite the fact that you wont find any admitting such things in here.. ) is that you dont burn your bridges.
So even crackers wont be helping you here..
You might be lucky to find some kiddie who will use google to track down a zeroday exploit to bust your yahoo mail open again.

  • It gets better. Check out this related thread where our friend kriss3d claims to have been "contacted":

I myself was contacted and was to earn a crapload of money if i would build somthing for some people. I wouldnt mind making blueprints or even build it but to sell it to those people would be against my own morale.

  • I hate people which think that "hacking" is using a keylogger to steal a MSN/Gmail/Yahoo/MySpace/... password from someone, or creating fake pages and sending phishing-scam e-mails.
