The new wooden table?
-
Received in an email from a client. The only change I've made is to blank out the printer name
So:
- Client thinks "I need to communicate the name of this printer"
- Not sure what dialog that's from, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on whether the text could be selected
- They know enough to open up the Windows Snipping Tool rather than sending a screenshot of the entire desktop
- But apparently not enough to be able to save the resulting snip or copy it after snipping
- I think the default behaviour is to copy to the clipboard when you take the snip
- So obviously, the solution is to screenshot the screenshot...
-
Did you receive the image in an attached Word document?
-
Disappointingly, no. It was inline in the email. The occasional bits of knowledge sprinkled through just make the even more bizarre.
-
This is so weird.

This is so weird.
I am not able rightly to apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas etc etc.
-
The only reasonable explanation I can think of is that the email client has a built in "take screenshot and attach to message" button and the person didn't know how to save an image from the snipping tool so they used that.
-
Rather than taking the screenshot from the email client in the first place?

Windows Snipping Tool? That thing exists? I always used Paint...
-
-
You can do screenshots via One Note on Win7 by pressing Win+s
-
It does color too!

Paint can't take non-rectangular regions.
-
When was the last time you've taken non-rectangular screenshot?

I literally have no idea what's going on here. Either I made a joke I don't remember, or this image was broken during the NodeBB migration.

You pixelized a screenshot so that it would look like a typical LED billboard but with a white background (because black background on Discourse would be )

Assuming the first. @Gąska said "you were saying" written out as it were on paper.

It's a portmanteau of ogre and agree — hence, to agree like an ogre.

So it means you cannot type 120wpm?
