Wait, what was I installing?

Take a look at the new instructions for installing nVidia Forceware in Windows Vista:
Under step 4:
Windows needs to install driver software for your hp scanjetHmm... so if I want to update my video card driver, I need to install the driver for my scanner. That makes sense.

It's obvious - your box found out that you don't have a wooden table and/or camera - so it wants to install a scanner.
If you don't scan your windows first - how do you want your computer to display them???

If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding! How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?!

You! Yes, you, behind the bike shed! Stand still, laddie!
The circled text was an attention-grabber. It took me a moment to realize that the original website had done the circling and not the original poster.

Apparently the person who took the screenshot for the instructions didn't want to actually install Forceware so he installed his scanner instead.

Um. What? There's nothing on that page about a scanner.

Apparently they fixed the screenshot already. The part where it reads "GPU" used to read "HP ScanJet".
