How many styles do we need?
-
@PJH please. You ruined EVERYTHING about Discourse for me by showing this twice!

Noah's stylesheets
-
clearly we need a style that shows fewer styles and one that shows more.
:-)
-
Related: it looks as though now you can't revert back if you select "discourse default" - the options disappear from the menu. I should have known it was a stupid idea to click that.

Thanks - I knew I had to set preview-style to "e49af156-2053-4e3e-b352-2e49caf5e9".....something
-
at least until @pjh makes another edit or something and the UUID changes. ;-)
-
yeah, it's quite obvious once you see the style itself.
I usually get sidetracked by the b352 becaues without the -2e49 following it I seem to translate it wrong.e49af156-2053-4e3e-b352-2e49caf5e918 is way easier to remember (if it ever hashes)
Damn, it doesn't! Now I gotta hash it manually... or tell you to imagine this being hashed!Filed Under: did they fix the hash-thing?

I wish to assume that the next edit @PJH makes fixes the whole mess (for all styles)!

Related: the "Categories" section of the hamburger is especially uglified on TDWTF Default (IE 11 100% zoom, more or less stock settings, W8.1):
By comparison, fairly clean (if cluttered) on Discourse Default (same browser & computer):
-
I forget that's even there.
-
And as of this post and the last post, a big DNR for me on the doubled-up stylesheets in the usertools drop down (that you get from clicking on your avatar), but I do replicate the stylesheet links going away when on Discourse Default (again, IE 11, W8.1, fairly stock settings).
-
Huh, did you ever choose any of the styles? I am running on whatever is standard. I never clicked on of those links!
Filed Under: So something may or may not be wrong in some or none of the styles!
-
I flicked back and forth between them several times when they first became links to choose, and I flicked back and forth today while poking around with the categories hamburger.

You could just eat the cookie with the style id in it instead in order to reset back to the TDWTF style.

What flavour is it?

last update broke the JS that adds those options to the menu.
