Found this while shopping for a phone case:
Not sure how much protection to expect from null, and I don't want to spend $40 to find out.

I don't see the word protection in the image? All I see is a simple field with "null" in it.
I assume the protection's implied because you're searching for phone chokers.

Is a single 'null' field in a product-specific page (as opposed to say a general page) really that exciting still?

Yes. But:
a) I acknowledged that by "I assume the protection's implied because you're searching for phone chokers.", yet what I said ("I don't see the word protection in the image?") is still correct as intended (unless my eyes are deceiving me?).
b) That's not a joke, so not getting it (though very stupid and unlikely) would not constitute missing a joke.Me thinks this is a metaflag, not that I mind - more badges for me.

It's protection for a phone. The description for this specific form of protection is "null". So it's null protection (as per the title). Would you trust null protection? Let's say you were condom shopping, would you buy a null condom?

Why would null desciption imply a null protection?
Perhaps it's null-brand?
null-powered?
Or just uninteresting enough to not deserve a non-null description?

I didn't say I wasn't able to make a connection between a null description and a null protection when presented one. (In your initial post). I obviously did or my post would just be "huh?" or something.
I said I did not agree with making such a connection.This really isn't rocket science.
EDIT: In fact, my initial post explicitly confirmed that I understood the connection.
