I used to have a Korean IPS 27" 2560x1440p screen and I could fit so much stuff on there at once. Paid $300 new. Then it died a couple years later and the Korean imports became so popular they cost $1000 new now and I never replaced it.

Sure, I could play games at 4K resolution, but that would require me to either play all my games in fullscreen and have 10 second alt-tabs, or to have the text on my desktop unreadably small.

Get a version of SockBot running on my EC2 instance and make it auto-like all the posts in t/1000
Then, later on, replace SockBot with my own NetBot. Assuming I ever actually write NetBot...

One, that'd be a rectangle, what with the dimensions not being the same, and two, the actual ratio is 8:3, not counting non-square pixels.

If the tileset was square, it would be 16:5. If it was the default tileset, it'd be 24:5.

not yet, but i do plan on it shortly.
i just need to work out what the thermal envelope will be like for it once i OC it and what heat sink i'll need to add to it (i'm currently using the OEM heatsink which gets the job done but not much more than that.)

decent card. no powerhouse but it'll handle most games other than crytech games you throw at it.
excellent set of CUDA cores too if you're into that.

I do this as well. Primarily because I see no point in only making goals at the beginning of the year. I'll make goals whenever I damn well please!

Go to UK. A few months with those cigarette prices and you'll cry just by looking at a pack... even if you don't smoke, it's still heartwrenching

Been using them for over a year. 6 orders, not had a problem with them yet. I suggest reading their FAQ however.

Just get a Hyper 212 Evo or something similar, unless you want to take your chances with higher than 4.3GHz or so.

They took out the GUI for it, you can still run the command line tool for it.

Cheers - will check it out but as the plan is to try and stop, I'm not sure making it that cheap is the best plan.
