Skyone TV Listings WTF
-
Ok, first post here. Please do not crucify me if I screw up the image here...
Sky One seem to have a bit of a problem with Leap Years... the best bit is that all the links from then on have incorrect dates in it. Still, at least they don't list any shows for the incorrect dates...
See for yourself here, look at the URLs for the next few days...

It's not just the website that gets confused.
Can you tell what's wrong here?

Whose Line Is It Anyway has certainly become more serious in recent years.

Yeah, I get that all the time, probably on about 5% of recordings. It's not just the website that gets confused.

Generally it's not an issue and sometimes can be quite funny, but sometimes by freak chance the info will be vague or similar enough to be plausible, which can cause much confusion.

Try that one :-P

LOL. I'm surprised that it allows any arbitrary date to be provided. I changed the year and everything. It's doing absolutely no math on it. It uses the Day parameter for the display and parses out the month and day from the Date parameter. If you strip out the Day parameter, it defaults to Monday. It could care less about the year.

You can do images, too...
Well that would make sense considering I was using HTML breaks. I didn't think of trying it, though.
It's pathetic that I'm getting amused by this. I'm definitely going to take screenshots and post them to Flickr. Heh..

Here they are on Flickr... I wonder what else I can put in that box..

Fun with stylesheets.

I'm trying to change the page into something completely different, but the whole "block of code appearing four times" thing is kind of hampering my efforts.
-
I've spent all this time trying to get a bogus listing in there by closing off the TD, etc. The listing worked, but the link buttons were messing it up. So, I just now gave up. shrug
-
Whoops, I can't brain today. I've got the dumb. All I had to do was remove "></a> from the beginning of the Day and three of the four instances were broken by being inside a link.

Another WTF: Did anyone else notice that any day number you use gets "th" appended to it, unless it's -01, -02, or -03?

I'm just glad I'm not the one getting amused by all of it. LOL. I just had to post it on Flickr for prosperity.

Now a really evil person would frame an NTL/Telewest window in there hahahaha. (their main competitors for non-Brits).
I like a lot of these. lol.

Ooh, that is evil - I like that, especially as Sky are taking away Skyone and therefore Lost and 24 from us Telewest/Virgin customers!
Glad everyone is enjoying my WTF!
