Moar discodowntime?
-
Is anyone else getting 504s on a regular basis today?
because it's happening all time here and its very annoying.
-
i had one just now, but i haven't been active enough to notice anything other than slow loading through the rest of the day.
-
Yup.
-
I've been getting them too, and all of the fun issues around them.
-
@sam, @pjh, @apapadimoulis, @shadowadmin?
what's going on this time?
-
Buggered if I know at the moment - I've just experienced it for the second time today though....

We should get Discourse to fetch the images from a subdomain.
-
Nothing of note in /logs:
And we're still on 4e85fc9.
I'd possibly suggest moving the topic to Bugs...
-
I see your admin icon changed again.

Well, I did install a 504'er on your network card's firmware that is designed to randomly intercept HTTP responses and replace them with a 504... but it's supposed to happen on ALL websites, not just this one. So, I'll have to look at my code.

Thank you kind sir for making me laugh. It was a pleasure.
it doesn't mean much, but have this like as a token of my appreciation.

I have discodowntime but I can't really blame Discourse for this one. (I think)
Firefox opens to a blank page and on the console I have:
NS_ERROR_FILE_NO_DEVICE_SPACE: File error: No device space (application-cea9208272eaf96e6a74fa64b9216079.js:226)
A cursory web search didn't make it clear for me what this is about, and I don't have time to investigate.
(Posting this from Chromium)

Sounds like you need to turn on UAC.
-
Halp! How do I turn off UAC on Linux Mint?
-
Are you on a Mac? (NS prefix means NextStep and oh god this just triggered my Xcode/Cocoa PTSD *twitches*)
-
Nah, Firefox has lots of internal stuff with a NS prefix. Possibly reminiscent of the Netscape age.
-
Whatever it was, it seems to have fixed itself.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
That's exactly why I mockingly refer to Firefox as Netscape.
-
Getting lots of WSOD today.

Getting lots of WSOD today.
only had one, but it was more than zero, so possibly worth mentioning.
The reply pane is definitely slow.
