Navigate to new topic via suggested topics list = Daily limit on actions?
-
can't reproduce anymore but i seriously just clicked on the link for /t/1000 in the suggested topics list and was greeted with that favorite screen that says i've done that action too many times for one day and i should try again in semirandom number of minutes.
is that a sign that i should take a bit of a break from this forum?
is that even a thing that's rate limited for discourse or did i just hit a weird bug?
-
Edit: it just happened again! what the [bad word]?!
-
I especially like how there is a "daily" limit but it tells you to try again in an hour.
-
That's Discorounding for you.
-
Yup, it's hard-stringed in the translation and it gets used for every ratelimiter response.
-
so I get that's the rate limiter, what i don't get is why i got rate limited. I was just navigating topics using the suggested topics list.

Holy shit, there was a Phantasmagoria 2?
-
Watched a playtrough, meh. The original one looks far more interesting, so I'm not watching that, maybe I'll play it properly one day.
-
Oh. Well it's fucking awful, and if you have even the slightest interest in it, watching two funny people mock it is about the best Phantasmagoria experience you can have.
I have no idea what happened to Roberta Williams, at some point she completely lost the plot and went nuts. Probably about halfway through King's Quest 6.
-
Yeah, but it looks like a fun type of bad. And I usually get a kick out of adventure games if puzzles are half-decent at least. Are they? If puzzles suck then it's definitely in the "watch only" category.
-
I dunno, let's plays only really cover the story. The inventory only really has 8 slots in the entire game, so I'm guessing it's not great in the puzzle department.

You seem proud of knowing that.
The magazine stated that the game "reinforces the notion that all computer freaks are emotionally underdeveloped high school and college boys"
