Nice job, Microsoft.
To set this value in a configuration file, you can assign a value to the requestValidationMode attribute of the httpRuntime element. For more information, see httpRuntime Element (ASP.NET Settings Schema).

This topic is no longer available (for 4.5) - see 4 for more data! (change the .net version on the '404' page)

Oh, that's easily discoverable.

Kind of why I linked it rather than stuck with just how to find it.
My first instinct when things are poorly documented is to check previous versions, because even though the 4.5 documentation might have like 3 properties and no code blocks, look a version or two before and you can usually find an actual implementation example.

I do find the versioning informating on Microsoft lacking.
Or maybe it's just because this is a result of me dealing with the fallout of an app being changed from 2.0 to 4.0 this morning.

I think their documentation tends to be the best around major releases, 2.0, 4.0 seem to have the most useful information, 3.5 has been around long enough that most of the cruft has been cleaned up. 4.5 is still pretty new in terms of documentation.
