The Language Files

So I noticed the language choice and my inner QA couldn't help itself and changed it to dutch. I was rather satisfied because it generally seems to work. Go Discourse!
I did notice this one though when replying ... something doesn't seem to be translated there.

Repro: type some text and then remove the text again.

If you'd like to contribute translations, you can do it through the web:
-
Actually I don't
-
I do however expect my languages not to be mixed up, there seems to be French in my Dutch
-
And one of these too

So what you're trying to say is that this is the most complete and bug-free Discourse feature so far.

It's crowdsourced
If you'd like to contribute translations, you can do it through the web:
I wonder if they're automatically accepted? Could we cover translated versions of the software in swearwords?
-
I wonder if they're automatically accepted?
please don't. we're trying to be nice so more of the bugs we file get acted on.
Jeff has been very nice and responsive lately and it's only right we do the same.
-
BELGIUM localization?
-
we're trying to be nice
Are we? Shit. I was going to go back to trolling since every time I respectfully disagree I get no response

So what you're trying to say is that this is the most complete and bug-free Discourse feature so far.
I would have expected more explosions, overflows, non-translated stuff that brakes functionality and the like. Some strings are missing but so far nothing has actually broken.
Jeff is naturally being Jeff by immediately suggesting that I shouldn't complain about the missing strings because after all I can add translations myself.
-
BELGIUM localization?
No, mostly just plain Dutch.
The biggest WTF remains the language menu.

The biggest WTF remains the language menu.
It still is a turd and since more and more languages are added more and more codes are added and thus the turd gets bigger and bigger to show of it's utter turdness.
-
You couldn't think of a way to fit "turd" in one more time? I am disappoint.

You couldn't think of a way to fit "turd" in one more time?
not really, I was all out of turds.
