So I type up a post, hit spellcheck, and this is what I get:
Yes, it's actually outputting, and then detecting as spelling mistakes, the HTML entities in the blurred out text at the top.
(TRWTF is not that I'm writing about PHP in LiveJournal, that is not what I'm doing.)

I like that it doesn't have "blog" in its dictionary.

A few years ago I was typing a message on an Ebay forum (yes. i know, that's a WTF right there) and it turns out they have some sort of filter to detect "bad" words. It wouldn't let me post my message due to the phrase "one group". WTF? I finally figured out that their filter was trying to be really smart and catch anyone who might be trying to sneak a bad word past them -- take the last two letters of "one" and the first three letters of "group" and you have "negro". Of course the biggest WTF is that someone thinks negro is such a horrible word that it must not be allowed.

I seriously hope they don't have the same filter on their Spanish-language forums... >_<;;

Me too!
On a forum I used to frequent, we used to play a game where you'd slip into a link occasionally which purported to go somewhere safe but actually linked to ukstuds.com (tip: don't visit that site. No, really).
One guy said that he was on his annual review, and they'd almost finished, when his boss said "There's just one last thing... we regularly monitor web traffic and we've noticed you visit 'ukstuds.com' a lot..." But let's not play that game here, it was annoying as hell.

Not me. Tags aren't visible in either the email that CS sends out, nor in the threaded view of the boards when I actually do come to the site.
