Filtering topic by user doesn't filter new posts
-
So, I was filtering that topic to see when @accalia's last post was so I could determine how close she was to completing her challenge (just under 3 hours now!). The filtering worked fine, until new posts were added to the topic:
Expected behavior: New posts obey the filter which is currently in place.
Discobehavior: New posts are displayed, completely ignoring the current filter.

same thing happens in /latest /unread and /new
put a categopry filter and wait for a new post, load changes and the updated thread appears even if it should be filtered.
i think i logged that one awhile ago... if i didn't i meant to.

Whatcha got there, some sort of pickup truck?

Topagination script.
@Darkmatter made it.

Pretty sure that's the version I'm using. Been a while, so I can't really remember.
-
Cool - do you find you use it much?
-
Maybe once or twice a day.

I use Sam's "go" box once in a while, but usually don't miss paging. My biggest annoyance with Discourse is its complete failure to track history in the old version of Chrome I'm using. The back button is useless, and the address often doesn't update when I go to a new topic page.

Wow, that must be a really, really old version of Chrome. What version number?
-
pinned topics are also not respected when loading new posts...
-
It's like everything to do with
Discoursethat new or updated topic indicator is a garbage trainwreck from top to bottom.

Hi Jeff! Yeah, it's Chrome 18.0.1025.162, on Linux. Ran into issues trying to upgrade it, so just kept going, but it's time to try again. (Or long past time... It's from 2012?)

Yes, it is time to let 2012 go and leave "Call me Maybe" behind.
