Dragon Age Origin - free until 10/14/2014

I have several free games on Origin. I'll install it as soon as I finish my Steam library...
-
I could do that, but then I'd have Origin.
-
You don't need to install the program to claim the game for the future though, just an account. Click on the "get it now" button and you're done, even though there's no indication of it whatsoever (other than the email you get).

I tried playing that, but there was so much talk between combat segments I literally forgot the combat controls.
Then I stopped playing it.

It bothers me that, in order to download it, I have to accept the EULA for, among other things, some nVidia driver. The driver I have works just fine, TYVM, and I have no way to be sure the one it wants to install isn't a regression.

I have no way to be sure the one it wants to install isn't a regression.
It's for this reason that I keep last-known-good backups of driver installers.
-
Origin is much better than Steam in loads of ways
-
I'm partway through it now. There's so much grinding and getting lost between talking that I forget what I was talking about :/
We had a temporary breakup after I defeated a really rough boss in the forest temple (with the werewolves and what not?), and then on the way back to camp, I got ambushed and died, and THERE WAS NO AUTOSAVE IN BETWEEN. WHY. THIS GAME AUTOSAVES EVERY FIVE FRIGAAN MINUTES, EXCEPT AFTER A BOSS BATTLE. dafuq.

The tenth of what?
Also, meh, I missed it. I don't have the access to my gaming PC anyway, and I still have SpaceChem to beat on my mobile, so...

Tenth of Duodecember.
