// FILE_NOT_FOUND? (TDWTF would be proud.) if (!file_exists($this->filepath)) { return false; }
I think it only fair to give you guys a shoutout.

You do care!

I don't really have anything more to add, but this post makes the posts in this topic count toward the 2^n badges.
-
And I got a Nice Topic badge, thanks everyone
-
I don't understand the difference between Nice Post and Nice Topic.
-
Nice Post is 10 likes on any post. Nice Topic appears to be 10 likes on the OP in a topic. It appears to not be sum(likes on all posts in topic) >= 10, which is what I assumed from the description, but it can't or we'd have a lot more of them awarded.
-
Yes, it's when you get 10 likes on the OP of a topic, as opposed to 10 likes on any post in a topic.
Nice Post is trivial because of t/1000/ but Nice Topic is a little more tricky.
-
The last sentence, I figured as much. The distinction (any post vs original post) escapes me. The badge description could be significantly better.

You can tell by the fact that 20K of them or whatever have been given out, heh.
-
We need a Dislike button, and badges for those. I'd get quite a few of those badges.
-
@blakeyrat would write a bot that disliked every post on the site.
-

There are some circumstances in which Discourse equates "topic" with "OP in topic." This is one of them. I don't know why. It's Discourse; there is no meaningful "why."

A lot of us would. That button would be quite popular.

From my current project:
SELECT currencyid FROM CURRENCY WHERE name = 'PHP'
From this, I can only assume that the Philippines' financial system is TRWTF

I don't understand the difference between Nice Post and Nice Topic.
Nice post:
SELECT p.user_id, p.id post_id, p.updated_at granted_at FROM badge_posts p WHERE p.post_number > 1 AND p.like_count >= 10 AND (:backfill OR p.id IN (:post_ids) )
Nice Topic:
SELECT p.user_id, p.id post_id, p.updated_at granted_at FROM badge_posts p WHERE p.post_number = 1 AND p.like_count >= 10 AND (:backfill OR p.id IN (:post_ids) )
-
If the post number is 1, it's the OP, so is a nice topic. Otherwise it's a nice post.
-
Yup.
-
It makes more sense than I would have expected.
