Interesting talk. This guy hacks into various industrial machines, cameras and such that are currently popping up on the internet.
My takeaway is: we're in the early, wild west stage of the internet of things concept. Everything is fast and loose now. As incidents happen, bureaucracy will step in and poo over everything, like it did with regular internet. In the meantime, some lulz will be had.

A lot of interesting stuff, but this is also an old category. I was looking at stuff like this back in 2006 timeframe. Good to know people still aren't attempting to secure things they put online, and it's just waiting for the next blaster worm.

Doesn't it give you the warm and fuzzies to realize the same people who aren't putting security into webcams are also not putting it in cars?
