They recently overhauled how the text gets rendered, and as a result the font kerning is horribly broken.
Exhibit A:
Exhibit B:
The second example is admittedly more subtle, but this update makes it difficult to read certain sites. This forum included
I've reported the bug, but I'm not holding my breath.
It's interesting to note: this isn't an issue on Android. Can anyone repro this on Linux? I suspect that this is a Windows specific bug, I can repro this problem across all of my Windows machines.

your exhibits are fully functional and informative

I couldn't upload my screen grab of the missing images. Is the server full?

Can you not see the images? Let me see what I can do...

Something's not right with the server:

@algorythmics, @Keith, I think I've fixed the images.
Can you see them now?

They're there now.

It took me several attempts to upload my new avatar yesterday evening. I had to remove the previous custom one before it would let me. I figured it was a temporary glitch, but it sounds like it could be space related.

He hyperlinked from another server.
EDIT: Sorry, misinterpreted your post.

Noticed, but I'm - also - getting errors trying to paste images.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll hotlink from elsewhere until it's fixed.

I can't repro it on mobile, I can only repro it on Windows so far, but I haven't got any other non mobile OS.

It only shows up on Windows as they just swapped from using GDI to render text to using DirectWrite instead. It is a new thing in 37+.

CNR; text looks just fine on my chrome on windows.
also pasting an image into here seems to work again.

Looks OK in beta 38, too.
-
Yup - same version, all seems fine.

Is any of those fonts Mac system fonts e.g. Helvetica neue or similar? If you have those installed it tends to fuck up horrifically.
