Sexy Harry Potter

- Ruby is Lily
- also, some joke about Ruby on Rails being James...
- if you convert "Tom Riddle" to Base64, you get "Dennis Ritchie"

OBDO.

Is it wrong that I knew what the acronym was?

Is it wrong that I knew what the acronym was?
It's probably expected in this community.
-
No C#? No Unity script? No brainfuck?
I am disappoint son.
-
-
Brainfuck is probably one of the horcruxes…

Why do I get the sneaking suspicion someone is going to say that LISP was Grindelwald? Which I guess makes Karkaroff Common Lisp (dark, enigmatic and vaguely threatening) and Krum Scheme (austere, unapproachable and convinced of his infallibility), but that last part doesn't makes sense - after all if that were the case, Hermione would have been the only one interested in him, yet he had lots of people obsessed with him. Maybe not.

No, Brainfuck would be one of the wands in that shop in Diagon Alley - Ollivander's.Brainfuck, Ook!, Whitespace - they all work on the same principle, they are all turing complete so in theory you can do everything you want with them.
The one best suited for you will pick you.

What about Ada, Haskell and Forth?
Oh, and don't spell Lisp in all caps. You know better.

Oh, and don't spell Lisp in all caps.
Of course you do, because Back In The Day they hadn't invented lower case (for computers) yet.

Actually, no. In fact, my web history is looking really strange.
-
By Last Visited: I see stuff I visited today, but nothing from thedailywtf.com — which is obviously false;
-
By Date: same thing, at least under "Today";
-
By Site: nothing at all, just an empty panel;
-
By Date and Site: I see nodes for "Today", "Yesterday", "Last 7 days", "This month", each of the last past 5 months, and "Older than 6 months". But when I expand those nodes, they're empty.
WTF, browser?

And we had to walk five miles in the snow to the computer lab...uphill....both ways.
-
I was specifically referring the LISP 1.5, which conventionally is spelled with ALLCAPS. Because that's the way they rolled in 1962.

And we had to walk five miles in the snow to the computer lab...uphill....both ways.
And then go to bed half an hour after you had to get up? Yorkshire is that way.

Ha! My evil plan is working! LISP!

No, from me on a map it genuinely is that general up+right direction

Actually, that was the first thought I had as well - Yorkshire is in the top-right corner of England (well, almost, there's still some stuff north of it).

From me, it's specifically up-right of my current location. Unless I was to use Stuart McArthur's Universal Corrective Map.
