Did you guys already port the bots?

Somebody apparently would be really happy about the Discourse-bots.
Are they still crashing every 5 seconds? And How did the meta-user find out about them?So many questions.
Filed Under: I am pretty sure he doesn't mean the TDWTFBots but what can those bots actually do currently?
-
Point them our way, SignatureGuyLabs!
-
Replied honestly without a link...
-
I was tempted to point one at meta.d but can't see it improving our standing over there.

This post is deleted!

Welp, Jeff ruined the fun of this topic.

@PJH close this topic please until the fun comes back, thanks!
Filed Under: Now @Arantor s comment looks weird on meta.... sorry for that

I apologised to Jeff in the interests of civility. Gauntlet thrown down.

I agree with whatever @loopback0 posted just above.<t3200p8>

I am proud of you!

Even that one's bad. Looks like someone shat on the moon.
-
Actually it looks like an artist's palette rather than a cookie.
-
What the heck kind of response was that?
-
I got confused and... fuck I dunno

The Real question is: What happened to your burns-avatar?
Filed Under: I think you had one... I honestly can't remember, though
-
I did have one, they changed it. This carried on for two or three go-arounds then I decided I couldn't be arsed and just reverted to my Gravatar there, which is aptly 'Powerslave'.
-
Oh, that sounds like you had quite the hard time.
Here, let me try to brighten your day a bit:
Filed Under: Gotta add more Burns to it... | From what I can tell, @boomzilla and @darkmatter still have their Burns-Avatars
-
And several others also do. (though not all of us have Mr. Burns, like PJH).
-
Well, PJH, ben_lubar and the likes never took part in that burns-game, right?
It just seems weird for them to just change the avatar of @arantor and leave everbody else the way they are. Is there some backstory you are hiding here, arantor?
-
Nope, I was doing it back on the very first day we were all doing it, so I had the same Burns avatar as everyone else - hence the reversion. I just CBA to find another Burns picture to change it, I don't spend much time on Meet-A-Discoarse.
-
Ah, that would be why then. Everyone I see from here that has a Mr.Burns has a different image of him.

"Red-headed stepchild?" o_O

I was late to the party and it had petered out by the time I found out about it.

We all got changed. Some of us came back and picked different Burns avatars.
-
Of course we're the red-headed stepchild. The one that no-one wants to admit to being related to.
-
Your reply was not marketed well to have people come check us out!
-
i know i is sowwy

I have learned from reading Dilber-comics that being in marketing is not a compliment-thing. So maybe @Matches wanted to say: "Good job, you are still some kind of engineer!".
Filed Under: If your post on Meta was marketing for TDWTF it would have been deleted anyway

I wonder what would happen if I changed mine back to something meaningless (the default "F") and you would then choose my burns avatar for your username...Would they notice and delete your avatar because a change in ownership of an avatar might confuse readers? And if not - how long a chain could be build up?
-
I doubt they'd notice but I honestly can't be arsed spending more time over there than I have to.
