Opening up different reply chains moves you down the thread

Obligatory "I don't think it's been reported but DiscoSearch" bit

Steps:

Open a thread with some long reply chains
Click the avatar at the top right of a post to show the thread it's replying to
without closing the reply thread, scroll to another post and click its "in reply to" icon

Expected:
the post you are reading stays in view, with the thread it's replying to above it

Actual:
The thread scrolls down a load of posts and you have to scroll back up to get to where you were reading

hungrier
